- It was suggested there might not be enough to keep children occupied at the picnic. The committee decided against bounce houses this year for this year because of the virus and children’s safety. The houses are small, hot, and social distancing is pretty much impossible. The number of children that can use the houses at a time is limited. It is also difficult to get volunteers to supervise the bounce houses.
- It was suggested the committee look at a two person inflatable obstacle course for the picnic. This idea will be presented to the planning committee.
- A dunk tank was also suggested. This idea will also be presented to the committee.
- Getting a large hot air balloon was also suggested to draw attention to the picnic.
- The food at the picnic will be packaged and distributed in closed containers. Again, this is for the safety of those attending.
- Representatives from law enforcement and the fire department will be at the picnic.
- The Scouts will have an archery game at the picnic.
