Neighborhood Clean-Up 2021

Neighborhood Clean-Up Day is Coming, May 8

The City of Omaha (City) will provide a trash truck at the Harvey Oaks Elementary School on Saturday, May 8. The time is 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Trent Bradshaw, event chairman, needs men and women volunteers to work one hour shifts the day of the event. If you would be willing to work please e-mail Trent at trent_m_bradshaw@yahoo.com. Please remember no items can be placed in the school’s dumpster. High School students needing community service hours are welcome also. This is an excellent time to get out of the house, and do something useful for your neighborhood. This is an excellent time to clean out the garage and basement.

The following items will NOT be accepted at the Clean-Up.

  • Yard waste, logs, large limps, railroad ties or brush,
  • Liquid or toxic materials (paint, oil, automotive batteries, pesticides),
  • Appliances (washers, dryers, stoves, hot water heaters, refrigerators, televisions),
  • Tires, wheels, car parts, etc.

Watch for signs and a HOHA e-mail on this event.
